Proprioception is the perception of one’s own body. It helps us to be able to stabilise ourselves and perform the correct movements. For example, if I go out very fast before a six-metre throw, but I am not able to stabilise myself, that power will be of no use to me in my displacements. It is also useful to prevent injuries.
