It is not clear that the concept “love plus” is a psychological concept as such. It refers to the fact that goalkeepers need a bit more attention than other positions. It is a position that is usually forgotten, very exposed, to which we find it difficult to send youngsters. That’s why we need to give them a little more affection than the rest, a little more love.
I don’t mean indulging them in any way, just a little empathy with them.
